Is Outbrief from the VA or DoD?

No. Outbrief is independent and not affiliated with VA, DoD or the US government.

Where does the information come from?

From official .gov and .mil pages. Each benefit shows its source and the date it was checked. Rules change, so always confirm on the official page.

A link or date looks wrong

Email us with the benefit name and we will check it.

Why do I see "6 months before" and not a date?

Real dates are part of Plus. Without it the timeline shows how long before or after your last day each step falls.

How do reminders work?

Reminders are local notifications on your iPhone, sent 30 and 7 days before each step. They are off until you turn them on in Settings.

Can I add my spouse?

Yes. A second profile is part of Plus.

How do I restore my purchase?

Tap Restore purchase on the Plus sheet or in Settings.

How do I delete my data?

Open Settings and choose Erase all data.
